Chinachem Group has long been a keen supporter of both local and international arts-related events, believing the power of art can uplift people’s spirits and that collaboration in the arts can create shared value for the community.

After co-operating with the French May Arts Festival for the first time last year to offer residents a variety of free arts and cultural activities, the two parties are joining hands once again to bring another glimpse of France to Hong Kong that combines art, culture and food: a French Traditional Gourmet Market held at two venues for the first time, and an interactive digital art installations bringing a rich Gallic experience to the public.

Chinachem Group and French May Arts Festival jointly invite visitors to Central Market and NINA MALL to enjoy a memorable journey of French culture and delicacies. Apart from the French Traditional Gourmet Markets at Central Market and NINA MALL, we also proudly present French artist Ophelia Jacarini’s interactive digital artwork, Intraverse, capturing the motion of her dance in the Metaverse using Virtual Reality technology combined with an original dance performance.

French Traditional Gourmet Market will be held at VR Zone, 1/F, Central Market during 19 – 22 May and NINA MALL 1 Atrium during 26 – 29 May.

Intraverse will be shown on Interactive Wall on G/F, Central Market during 19 May – 30 June and NINA MALL 1 during 26 May – 30 June.
