Familiar and original songs performed with and without vocals and rearranged for big band and strings

In a supersize performance of home-grown talent – featuring arranger and composer Patrick Lui on piano, a 17-piece big band, a string quartet and acclaimed local singers Janice Vidal and Angelita Li – the renowned Patrick Lui Jazz Orchestra perform familiar and original songs rearranged for a big-band sound. Taking inspiration from local and regional pop tunes and jazz standards, the event features new and rearranged songs sung both with vocals as well as instrumentally.
