This November, Freespace Jazz Fest returns for the seventh year with four days of indoor and outdoor performances showcasing top local and international jazz, pop and world music. Over the long weekend, free and ticketed events take place on multiple stages in and around Freespace and the Art Park. Join us to explore new sounds, soak up the festival atmosphere, and show your support for a brilliant new generation of jazz artists.

06.11.2025 – Echoes Across Eras
A debut collaboration between two acclaimed Hong Kong pianists – jazz legend Ted Lo and new generation star Joyce Cheung
Join us this November when renowned local jazz pianists Ted Lo and Joyce Cheung come together on stage, for the first time, for a cross-generational performance highlighting the powerful evolution of Hong Kong’s jazz scene.
Through a curated programme of original work and new arrangements, the performance fuses veteran artist Lo’s strong foundation in traditional and contemporary jazz and Cheung’s more classical education – allowing both artists to showcase their shared musical interests and experiences, as well as their individual, critically acclaimed jazz skills.

07.11.2025 – Marf & Winka @COLLAR
Join us for the Freespace Jazz Fest debut of Marf Yau and Winka Chan – two charismatic young members of Hong Kong’s hottest girl group COLLAR.Acclaimed for the power of their vocals and choreography, the duo blend energetic street style with sweet rousing ballads, breaking canto-pop norms.
The performance features music direction by renowned local pop producer Terry Tsui.

08.11.2025 – Ian @MIRROR
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ian Chan – an award-winning member of Hong Kong boy band MIRROR – makes his Jazz Fest debut with an intimate performance of original and familiar work showcasing the impressive range of his songwriting and vocal skills.
This event features music direction by renowned local pop producer Terry Tsui.

09.11.2025 – Joe Webb Trio
Young British pianist and composer Joe Webb has emerged as a leading force on the global jazz scene. Recognised for his exceptional talent and rockstar-like persona, he blends inspiration from 90’s Brit-pop and his Welsh cultural roots with a unique blend of nostalgia and originality that pushes the boundaries of classic jazz.
Performing on stage with formidable long-time collaborator Will Sach on double bass and Kai MaCrae on drums, Webb demonstrates his dexterous, light touch, presenting a bright, technically deft and uplifting programme of music from their 2024 album Hamstrings & Hurricanes – one of the year’s top jazz releases in Europe – along with new and yet-to-be-released sounds.
Highly regarded as a pianist and composer, Joe Webb has collaborated with renowned artists such as Wynton Marsalis and Jamie Cullum, and toured his own music internationally.
This programme is co-presented by WestK Performing Arts and Premiere Performances of Hong Kong.
