A powerful documentary that evokes reflections on personal perseverance and the human spirit, Four Trails follows the trials and tribulations of participants of the Hong Kong Four Trails Ultra Challenge (HK4TUC). Along the way, the film spotlights the vibrant community of trail runners and the unrivaled mountains and open spaces that makes Hong Kong a favorite amongst hikers, ultra-runners and endurance athletes. Four Trails became the second highest-grossing documentary in Hong Kong history, surpassing HK$10 million. Back by popular demand after a record sellout first screening.

Stone Tsang and Hyun Chang Chung, both accomplished ultra endurance runners and featured in the film, and HK4TUC founder Andre Blumberg will join us after the screening to share their reflections on the film’s success and the plans for the 2026 edition.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Stone Tsang Siu Keung is a legend of Hong Kong trail running, a former government paramedic and professional trail-runner for The North Face. Stone is one of the most accomplished trail runners in Asia over the past two decades. He is also a community leader in the outdoor industry in Hong Kong, having spearheaded many youth and adult trail running training and development programs.

Hyun Chang Chung is a Koreanborn, Hong Kong–based ultratrail runner and one of the few athletes to have finished all four of the sport’s most iconic 100mile races. Known for combining resilience with a lighthearted approach to endurance challenges, Hyun works in the finance industry and is a proud father of three, balancing family life with his passion for the trails.

Andre Blumberg is from Germany originally but has lived in Asia for 30 years and calls Hong Kong home. He is the Founder and Challenge Director of the Hong Kong Four Trails Ultra Challenge (“HK4TUC”). In 2012, Andre set off by himself, to run all four of Hong Kong's iconic ultra distance trails in just four consecutive days. 298km and over 14,500m of climbing later, one of the hardest ultra marathons in the world HK4TUC
