Family Pop-Up: Bubble Play and Book Play

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Family Pop-Up: Bubble Play and Book Play are mobile stations specially designed for families to provide interactive experiences that encourage children and families to discover, learn, and have fun within and beyond M+ galleries.

The mobile stations are regularly displayed inside the Learning Hub on weekdays and travel throughout the museum building during designated times on weekends. We invite everyone to visit the stations on a drop-in basis.

Bubble Play

Bubble Play invites visitors to explore alternative usage of everyday objects by focusing on their details and spaces like holes, cracks, and gaps. We encourage you to bring your own tools to create bubbles and inspire others around you.

Book Play

Book Play enables visitors to gain different perspective in playful ways by piquing their curiosity in visual culture through reading sessions. We have handpicked a selection of children’s books, which will rotate periodically based on topics related to our exhibitions and ‘Family Day’ workshops at M+.

Book Play offers a selection of reading material exploring the forms of artistic expressions.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Family Day brings forward family-orientated events to M+ on Sundays during the second half of each month. We invite families to share their creativity through various types of activities that foster deeper connections among members and with other families as we come together to form a vibrant family collage on an open platform at M+.
