As part of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s 20th anniversary celebrations, the beloved Disney Live in Concert series adds a new instalment titled Disney Legend Live in Concert, featuring the award-winning Disney Legend Lea Salonga, who performed at the resort’s grand opening in 2005. Two decades later, she returns to celebrate the resort’s 20th anniversary milestone with a spectacular one-night-only concert on January 10, 2026. Under the shimmering lights of the Castle of Magical Dreams, she will pay tribute to the bravery, dreams, and spirit of Disney Princesses and Queens in a night filled with music and emotion.
Lea Salonga is a multiple award-winning actress and singer, renowned for her achievements in musical theatre and her iconic Disney Animation film roles. She remains a cherished icon to generations of Disney fans around the world. As the iconic singing voice behind Disney Princesses Jasmine and Mulan, her renditions of A Whole New World and Reflection have become timeless Disney classics, and she was officially named a Disney Legend in 2011.
Inspired by those who dare to dream and believe at the Castle of Magical Dreams, Lea will take guests on a musical journey through the realms of Disney Animation royalty, featuring the strings ensemble from The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Disneyland Band, conducted by Maestro Gerard Salonga. In addition to the Oscar-winning A Whole New World from Aladdin and the Golden Globe-nominated Reflection from Mulan, she will also sing the heartfelt A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes from Cinderella, Elsa’s empowering Let It Go from Frozen and more, with each song bringing these timeless stories to life.
Adding to the enchantment, six beloved Disney Princesses and Queen, including Jasmine, Mulan, Tiana, Elsa, Cinderella, and Pocahontas, will make special appearances on the Castle Stage. They will appear in breathtaking castle projections and dazzling pyrotechnic effects, making it one unforgettable night.
