Digital November 2023 – Nexus Design

EVENT DESCRIPTION

The Consulate General of France in Hong Kong & Macau is pleased to announce the program of its 7th edition of Digital November (in French, Novembre Numérique), the yearly event supported by the Institut Français which shades light on French digital creation.

After E-Sport in 2021, NFT and Crypto-art in 2022, the theme of Digital November this year is “Fashion Tech”.

Co-organised with Art Prince Advisory, the 3-day long exhibition Nexus Design will feature selected phygital art and clothing design work of French multidisciplinary artist Céline Shen, which will be displayed at Cyberport Go Green Area from Tuesday November 14 to Wednesday November 16 2023.

As the flagship and incubator of digital technology in Hong Kong, Cyberport will coincidently host Game On! a series of conferences on tech and entertainment to which Céline Shen will take part as panellist.

The French fashion tech scene is on the rise and Céline is part of this cultural shift.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Novembre Numérique is an international event created by the Institut Français which aims to promote the French Digital industries through the French cultural and diplomatic network abroad.

Amateurs and professionals from France and abroad are encouraged to gather to (de)code, create, play and think together, in a festive spirit, about digital technology in all its forms.

Workshops, debates, shows, exhibitions, hackathons, escape games, etc. will allow us to question the forms, practices, uses and stakes of the digital revolution and to take a forward-looking look at the mutations of our societies.
