EVENT DESCRIPTION
Presented by the HKAC, the Comix Arts Fest 2025will be held from 22 July to 31 August 2025 at the Pao Galleries, Diana Cheung Experimental Gallery, and Jockey Club Atrium in the Hong Kong Arts Centre. This festival will showcase works from both renowned and emerging local talents, marking a significant milestone as the first comics event of its kind in Hong Kong. It also commemorates the 20th anniversary of HKAC’s Comix Home Base (CHB), which supports Hong Kong comix creativity and nurtures emerging artists.
The Comix Arts Fest 2025will include several key events:
- Hong Kong Comix Art Fair – showcasing 60 local artists’ original comics and illustration artwork (Period: 22 July to 31 August)
- Hong Kong Comix Art Pop-up Store (Period: 13 to 31 August)
- HKAC Art Shop – Limited-Time Comix-Themed Store (Period: 22 July to 30 September)
- Special Edition of Hong Kong Comix Merchandise (Period: from 13 August)
- Exhibition of Renowned Korean Comics/Illustration Artist: Mr Kim Jung Gi (Period: 13 to 31 August)
- Spin-off Events: Autograph & Sharing Sessions with Artists, Junior Docent Programme, Public Tours (Period: 13 to 31 August)
