Cj Hendry: Summer Pool Party

This summer, from now until 24 August 2025, the renowned New York-based artist Cj Hendry is teaming up with ifc mall Hong Kong to present the vibrant Summer Pool Party art installation. Inspired by her distinctive work Public Pool, Hendry is bringing her iconic large-scale swimming pool installation to Asia for the first time, featuring unique components exclusive to Hong Kong.

Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in this one-of-a-kind pool party, where they can slide down the Joyful Slide into the Blooming Summer Pool, capture memories with friends at the Smile & Snap photo booth, and enjoy refreshing soda drinks available exclusively at the Welcome Bar. In tandem with these activities, ifc mall is rolling out summer shopping rewards, offering a series of surprise spending privileges to take the excitement of the season to new heights.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Cj Hendry is a New York-based artist originally from Brisbane, Australia. She transforms her fascination with contemporary material culture into large-scale, hyper-photorealistic drawings. Hendry’s exhibits are designed to be actively experienced within engaging and thought-provoking environments she meticulously creates. At Public Pool in 2024, visitors travelled hours into the Las Vegas desert to dip into a temporary Olympic-sized swimming pool, complete with lounge chairs and pool floaties. Each Cj Hendry exhibit, from Miami to Melbourne, attracts massive crowds, with attendees sometimes queuing for hours to immerse themselves in the magic within.
