EVENT DESCRIPTION
As “Art March” descends upon Hong Kong, the city is enveloped in a vibrant artistic atmosphere. While public discourse frequently centers on the monumental, high-valuation masterpieces showcased at major international art fairs, such works can often seem inaccessible to burgeoning collectors and enthusiasts. 13a New Street Art Gallery offers a refreshing alternative with the group exhibition Bon A Petite, running from March 19 to April 5, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday). Featuring small-scale original works and limited-edition art toys by eight contemporary artists, the exhibition invites art into daily life with warmth and accessibility.
The exhibition title, Bon A Petite, is a playful pun on the French phrase “Bon Appétit” (wishing one a good appetite). It invites viewers to savor art with the same ease and delight as tasting a fine delicacy. At the heart of the concept is “Petite”—small in scale but grand in soul. Curated by Ruby Fung, the show brings together eight artists from Japan, New York, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, focusing on “bite-size,” affordably priced originals and limited editions.
