EVENT DESCRIPTION
Our Cold Loves is both a video and a participatory performance that explores love in the digital age. Blending cinema and theatre, it invites the audience to embody characters from the world of online dating, while questioning the underlying mechanisms at play.
In the video Our Cold Loves, 22 characters explore intimacy in the age of dating apps such as Tinder. In an intimate performance for 22 participants seated around a dining table as if invited to an exquisite meal, you and your table companions will reassemble fragments of dialogue into a new montage of the video (in English).
Ariane Loze writes, directs, acts and edits her own videos, making each one a performance in its own right. Our Cold Loves will have its Asia premiere at Belgian Days 2025, an unmissable opportunity to interact with this unique, internationally acclaimed artist.
