Baroque Concertos: Bach & Vivaldi

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong, the concert will be held at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall on June 23rd, 2023. Our soloists include Dr. Joseph Kam (Senior Music Officer (Strings) of the Music Office), Mr. Yipwai Chow (former violinist, Cong Quartet), and Abbie Chan (young local artist).

The program comprises of some of the most well-known violin concertos from the Baroque period, including Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Telemann’s Viola Concerto, and Bach’s Violin Concerto in E major as well as his Double Violin Concerto in D minor; bringing the audience to explore the charisma of Baroque music.
