Stefan Temmingh is widely acclaimed as one of the great recorder virtuosos of our time, a distinction highlighted by SWR Kultur. He has appeared with leading ensembles including the Deutsche Radiophilharmonie Saarbrücken-Kaiserslautern, Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Bochum Symphony Orchestra, Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Filarmonica La Toscanini Parma, and WDR Funkhausorchester. Temmingh has also performed in prestigious venues and festivals such as the Leipzig Bach Festival, the Handel Festivals in Halle and Göttingen, Musikfest Bremen, Bach Weeks Thuringia, Alte Oper Frankfurt, and the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin. His discography has won the OPUS Klassik Award 2022, Gramophone Magazine Editor’s Choice, Diapason d’Or, etc. In addition to his performing career, he serves as a professor at the University of Music in Freiburg and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
Sebastian Wienand is a harpsichordist. He is a winner of the OPUS Klassik Award 2022. He has performed at renowned festivals including the Menuhin Festival Gstaad, Bachfest Leipzig, Mozartfest Würzburg, and the Rheingau Music Festival. He has collaborated with leading ensembles such as the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra, Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, and Brandenburg State Orchestra. Wienand is also the founder of the chamber music ensemble l’Ornamento, which has been awarded 1st Prize and the Audience Award at Musica Antiqua Bruges, as well as the Audience Award at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. He is a member of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra.
