EVENT DESCRIPTION

In Art March in Hong Kong, why not have a different art exhibition at the unique Cattle Depot Art Village, an ecological art space that focuses on local culture? This time we are bringing together an exhibition of collectors, rising stars, and local artists at the Cattle Depot Artist Village in To Kwa Wan.

The collectors’ collection exhibition area displays various masterpieces by artists from home and abroad, including photography, oil paintings, prints, ink paintings, watercolours, multimedia creations, etc., which are brilliant. The collections of five collectors are jointly exhibited to open the door to art collection for art lovers who are interested in art collection. Through the exhibition, the artists and art collectors share their experience in art collection. In all, the reasons for collecting art can be very direct and simple. There are more than 40 medium and large-scale works to see all at once.

The senior artist exhibition area features about 40 new ink paintings by local artist Frog King, whose persistent creations exude an irresistible charm. Also on display are installation works by local designer and photographer Kith Tsang, drawing inspiration from the observation of city corners and promising to bring unexpected surprises.

In the Rising Stars section, you can find the works of mainland oil painter Shawn Cao (born in 1995). He invites viewers to see the unfamiliarity in monotonous life and presents tranquil snapshots of urban life through acrylics painting. His keen observational skills allow him to refine and condense visual representations, offering contemporary art audiences a unique perspective on the city.
