EVENT DESCRIPTION

Yrellag Gallery is honoured to present “00:00”, a solo exhibition by Ailsa Wong. “00:00” will showcase installations, paintings, images, and video works. Centered around the concept of time, it traces the repeated trajectories of fabricated entities. Using primordial memories as an arch to transcend temporal limits; split seconds as the eternal present; and the double dualities of the individuals as a return to collective consciousness.

The exhibition opening will be held on Saturday, 3 August 2024 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m, and the artist will be present during the opening. The exhibition will be on view from 3 August 2024 until 22 August 2024.

ABOUT THE ARTIST / ORGANISER

Ailsa WONG Nga Shan received her Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2019.
Her practices include paintings, videos, images, and installations. She explores ways to connect consciousness with primitive emotions to fill the vacuum of belief. She creates works with various mediums, including AI-generated videos and images, paintings on rusted metal plates, and installations made from clay and ready-made objects.
