2025 Para Site Benefit Auction

Para Site is proud to announce its 2025 Benefit Auction, its marquee annual fundraising event dedicated to sustaining and expanding its critical work within the local and international art ecosystems. The Benefit Auction, which comprises live and silent formats, will take place during the Gala evening on Thursday, 20 November 2025, at the St. Regis Hong Kong.

Over 70 works by leading artists have been generously donated by local and international contemporary artists and galleries, in support of the organisation’s mission to champion original developments in contemporary art. Highlights include works by: Feng Guodong, Shinro Ohtake, Mire Lee, Ser Serpas, Tia-Thuy Nguyen, and Wang Tuo, amongst others. All works can be viewed at the Preview Exhibition taking place from 13–16 November, from 12–8pm, at 9F, H Queen’s, Hong Kong.

Reflecting Para Site’s deep entrenchment within its community and regional ecosystems, network, and curatorial vision, the artists of this year’s Benefit Auction represent a dynamic dialogue between established, celebrated artists and emerging, visionary voices. Several of the works have also been donated by artists who have previously exhibited at Para Site, including artists Shuyi Cao, Maria Taniguchi, and Heman Chong. Visitors to the Benefit Auction Preview Exhibition will gain the opportunity to learn about new and emerging names in the region, many of whom will hold upcoming institutional presentations in the following year.

All proceeds raised from the evening will go towards the longstanding contemporary arts organisation’s efforts for the following year and beyond. Since its founding in 1996 by seven Hong Kong-based artists as an alternative space, Para Site has mounted over 300 exhibitions locally and globally, hosted over 87 international residents, and delivered over 1,000 public programmes.

As an independent nonprofit, Para Site relies on private donations to ensure its continuity, to keep Para Site’s exhibitions and programming free and accessible for all, and to facilitate international connections between Hong Kong, Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world through its exhibitions and residencies.
