150th Anniversary of Establishing of Liszt Academy – Gábor Farkas’s Piano Recital

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Liszt Ferenc Academy’s founding, the Consulate General of Hungary proudly presents Hungarian virtuoso Gábor Farkas’s Piano Recital. Gábor Farkas is the President of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, Hungary, and is one of the finest pianists of his generation. Farkas is well known for his huge repertoire, with an emphasis on the romantic period, and his powerful virtuoso technique combined with a soothing bel canto tone, a rare gift by which he makes his instrument sing like no one else can among his peers.
