Having dedicated over 40 years to the entertainment industry, Andy Lau has taken a leap into the art world this summer. Collaborating with various contemporary artists and teams across diverse styles, he has established “1/X Andy Lau X Art Exhibition”. The art space utilizes the entire building of Freespace in the West Kowloon Cultural District, from the ground entrance, lobby, the stairwell, to the second floor, extending to its outdoor terrace area, and thereby creating a thought-provoking art journey which presents a richly encompassing wide range of artistic works.

Andy Lau proudly presents the first-ever “1/X Andy Lau X Art Exhibition” featuring contemporary artists and teams with strong reputations in different art fields and who have joined hands in the creation effort, including Lin Yusi, Huang Yulong, Xu Zhuoer and STICKYLINE. These exhibits make use of multiple arts forms, covering oil painting, large-scale installation art, sculptures, calligraphy, ink wash painting, geometric paper sculptures and crystal installation art, presenting unique and diverse works through many expressive formats and techniques.

Embark on a Voyage through Eight Artistic Spaces and Experience a Significant Art Adventure
“1/X Andy Lau X Art Exhibition” features eight distinct artistic spaces: “Always”, “All Along”, “All Along With”, “Because”, “Be There”, “Honey” (ANDY & HANNA, and ANDOX & BOX Exhibition) and “Be You”. Additionally, there is a dedicated area for “1/X Andy Lau” commemorative merchandise, offering exquisite items that embody the essence of the artists’ creations, allowing the public to experience the joy of art. Andy Lau, along with the artists and teams, has deliberately designed a guided tour route, encouraging visitors to follow the creative thought process of the artists. Starting from the entrance lobby at “Always” and concluding at “Be You”, it is “as if one is walking alongside Andy Lau through his journey in the realms of entertainment and art”, experiencing the tension and boundless possibilities that art brings.
