EVENT DESCRIPTION

Torchbearer of her father Ravi Shankar, the multi-Grammy-nominated sitar virtuoso and composer Anoushka Shankar brings Indian music on new paths in the classical world. Chapters is a joint commission with the BBC Proms and features music from Anoushka Shankar’s three Chapter albums, tracing her musical and geographical journeys. Robert Ames conducts CCOHK in these new orchestral arrangements of the trilogy – Forever, For Now, How Dark it is Before Dawn and We Return to Light.
