The Academy of St Martin in the Fields, one of the world’s leading chamber orchestras, is distinguished by its vibrant interpretations and exceptional artistry. Founded in 1958 by Sir Neville Marriner, the orchestra has become a global symbol of musical excellence and expressive freedom. In two concerts, conductor Wilson Ng leads the orchestra in collaboration with piano virtuoso Minsoo Sohn and his prodigious pupil Yunchan Lim to perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No 1 and Schumann’s Piano Concerto, promising two unforgettable concerts where breathtaking technique, shimmering emotion and the enduring magic of music converge on stage.
