EVENT DESCRIPTION

Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious competitions in the world, the Queen Elisabeth Competition has crowned pianists such as Boris Giltburg, Valery Afanassiev, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Leon Fleisher, and Emil Gilels, as well as violinists including Ray Chen, Vadim Repin, Jaime Laredo, and David Oistrakh. In 2025, Dutch pianist Nikola Meeuwsen joined this distinguished lineage as the Grand Prize Winner, at the age of 23. His playing was described by The Times as having “tapped right into the delicacy and beauty of everything he played,” and he is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting artists of our time. Join us this September at his highly anticipated Hong Kong debut and witness this extraordinary new talent command the spotlight.
