5 July - 21 July
FreeEVENT DESCRIPTION
As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong Art School, the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) Program cost-presented with RMIT Universality Graduate Exhibition 2025, titled “Calling”, will be held from 5 to 21 July at Pao Galleries, Hong Kong Arts Centre, showcasing the works of graduating students specialising in ceramics, painting, photography, and sculpture.
Calling presents the unique journeys shaped by each graduate’s inner voice and experiences. It reflects fragments of growth, adaptation, and individuality, transformed into a revolving echo that leaves a lasting mark on one’s life. No two echoes are the same, yet they resonate with universal connections. Through their tangible forms, all are invited to engage with the voice that calls out to you and delve into moments of introspection and intimate exchanges.
This exhibition will showcase 39 outstanding works from 31 graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art), including 12 ceramic pieces, 20 paintings, 3 photography, and 4 sculptures.
Since 2000, we have nurtured approximately 4,000 students from our award-bearing programs. Over 80% of our graduates are employed after graduation , mainly in art, culture, design, creative industries, and art education. The art pieces from Hong Kong Art School alumni have achieved recognition in art fairs, art institutions, and galleries around the world, This establishes Hong Kong Art School as a nurturing ground for contemporary artists.
