EVENT DESCRIPTION

UBS is proud to be the Presenting Partner of Cirque du Soleil’s internationally acclaimed show, KOOZA, in Hong Kong. In partnership with entertainment producers Great Entertainment Group and Mast International, the Hong Kong leg of the legendary show will mark Cirque du Soleil’s first appearance in Hong Kong since 2018 and be the first stop of a multi-destination Asia Tour. Audiences are invited to enjoy the show in the Big Top at the Central Harbourfront Event Space from 21 May.

First launched in 2007, KOOZA delivers a signature Cirque du Soleil experience in its most exciting form. This spectacle features high-flying acrobatics, whimsical characters, lavish costumes, colourful sets, hilarious clowns, and a powerful live score. Filled with chills, thrills, laughter, and wonder, KOOZA unfolds a non-stop, adrenaline-packed series of edge-of-your-seat surprises. The show’s narrative follows the journey of the Innocent, who is transported to a fantastical world under the watchful eye of the Trickster.

KOOZA relaunched in 2022 with new production elements and new artists, uplifting this incredible performance with new skills and artistry, new characters, and acrobatics. New acts include a brand-new aerial silk performed by a fierce solo female performer, a dynamic Icarian games duo featuring human foot juggling, flips and somersaults, a high-energy diabolo act which features a triple world champion – all acts never-before-seen previously in Hong Kong. The total show length is approximately two hours and features a lot of fresh and renewed audience interactions, promising an unforgettable experience for fans old and new.

With its breathtaking performances and exotic visual effects, KOOZA has mesmerized close to eight million spectators with over 5000 performances in more than 70 cities across 23 countries and five continents. Audiences can anticipate an exhilarating, continuous thrill ride filled with unexpected surprises.
