Worlds Within: Art as Refuge

6 June - 25 August

Free

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Worlds Within: Art as Refuge is an exhibition that gathers the visionary works of Zao Wou-Ki, Fernando Zóbel, Lê Phổ, and Kang Myonghi—artists who found a way to navigate rupture and preserve the essential. In a world shaped by conflict, displacement, and disinformation, their art offers not escape, but presence.

This marks the first time Fernando Zóbel’s works are shown in Hong Kong, alongside a rare, comprehensive presentation of Lê Phổ’s artistic evolution. Together, these works form a sanctuary of resilience, echoing Villepin’s mission to champion the most significant voices of Asia and Southeast Asia across the 20th and 21st centuries.
