Dragon has long been a powerful symbol of prosperity and good fortune. To celebrate both the Year of the Dragon and the grand opening of the GuWei Museum, a special exhibition focuses on artefacts featuring dragon and phoenix motifs. The exhibition is organised into three sections: “The Dragon: Mythological Creature”, “The Phoenix: Queen of the Birds” and “The Dragon and Phoenix Offer Auspiciousness”, each exploring the deep cultural significance and auspicious symbolism of these legendary creatures in Chinese tradition.
