Stephen Siu: Color Calls Color

Art Empathy and 1-Art Gallery co-present Stephen SIU’s solo oil painting exhibition Color Calls Color, expressing bright imaginary and personal sense through abstract ways and reinterpreting how contemporary art exists as a lifeful experience.

As a traditional practice, oil painters pursue lighting and shadowing. Contemporary oil painters may also achieve personal experiences as expressions apart from mere recording. Oil painting, as a visual language, can preserve a lasting moment and act as a witness to the power of painting.
