Mono-Screenprinting Workshop by Krystine Wen

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Lemna’s exhibiting artist Krystine will lead a series of Mono-Screenprinting Workshops. This workshop introduces mono screen-printing to the participants, breaking the perception of screen-printing: how to create an extraordinary print through silkscreen and paint brushes? Generally, the typical silk screen-printing prints multiple layers and patterns to create the final image. But through this mono screen-printing workshop, participants would use brushes to paint their images freely, and then use the squeegee to print the paint from the silkscreen onto the paper, resulting one unique monoprint is created.
