EVENT DESCRIPTION

Following sold-out concerts with Premiere Performances, guitar sensation Miloš Karadaglić returns to Hong Kong for a much-anticipated evening alongside the celebrated Viano Quartet for a special programme exploring the themes of immigrations and identities.

Dubbed “classical music’s guitar hero” (BBC Music Magazine), Montenegro-born guitarist Miloš has single-handedly been spearheading a renaissance in the popularity of the classical guitar. His thrilling technique and transcendent musicality have earned him legions of fans and worldwide acclaim. With highly popular performances at the world’s finest venues, and as the first classical guitarist to sell out a recital at London’s Royal Albert Hall, Miloš stands as one of the most sought-after guitarists of the century.

In this recital, Miloš will be collaborating with the Viano Quartet. The Canadian-American ensemble won the 2019 Banff International String Quartet Competition, and received the prestigious 2025 Avery Fisher Career Grant. The Viano Quartet has established itself through its masterful technique and fiery playing, becoming one of the most internationally acclaimed young ensembles today.

Miloš and the Viano Quartet, each with distinct cultural roots and ceaselessly travelling in pursuit of their art, explores their unique identities in this cross-cultural programme. They will be playing music by a range of composers, including Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Vivaldi, Piazzolla, and The Beatles. The evening will feature a blend of tango, classical, contemporary, and popular music.
