It’s Morphing Time!

To celebrate Pride Month, Eaton HK will host a month-long queer arts and cultural programs from 10 June to 22 July 2023. This year’s theme, “It’s Morphing Time!”, we invite the public to embrace the power of being queer—the power of morphing born from the intersection of a vibrant mix of diverse identities that rejects traditional binary thinking in gender and sexuality and builds a fluid common ground for all.

The extensive programming aims to curate over 20 diverse activities for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. As well as offer hope and inspiration to LGBTQ+ people, allies and the public for collective action and social change to strive for a better future for queer communities via panels, screenings, workshops, exhibitions, performances, parties, graduation ceremony, tournament, wedding fair, pride month cocktails and “Love is Love Staycation” package.

Eaton’s Pride activations will partner with various organizations and non-profit communities focusing on the equality and rights of marginalized communities, including Drag Jam, Gay Games Hong Kong, The Glenlivet, Gender Empowerment, The Hong Kong Coalition of AIDS Services Organizations, Hong Kong Gay Men’s Chorus, Hong Kong Life Model Club, Next Chapter LGBT, Onebookhalf Gender Space, Quarks, Queer Straight Alliance, TA, Videotage, videoclub, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and so on. Funds raised will be donated directly to two local queer platforms, Midnight Blue and Butterfly, which aim to develop and nurture gender and sexual inclusivity.
