While there have never been so many geopolitical and climatic crises in Asia, Humanitarian and Philanthropy – the French Way sharing will explore the long-lasting presence and approach of three outstanding French-based organisations towards the most vulnerable populations in Asia, in the field of education, health and the most basic needs.

Co-organised by Fondation de France Asia and the Consulate General of France, experts from the field will present the cooperations implemented in different countries in Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Nepal and the Philippines) and the evolution and challenges of the past years, and will discuss the distinctive French approach.

This special evening is organised in partnership with the Asia Society Hong Kong Center.

Handicap International - Humanity and Inclusion: Handicap International – Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent and impartial aid organisation working in situations of poverty and exclusion, conflict and disaster. The organisation works alongside people with disabilities and vulnerable populations, taking action and bearing witness in order to respond to their essential needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
